FCSS-23S Series Type B Leakage Current Sensor

The FCSS-23S series fluxgate current sensor can achieve Type-B residual current detection, featuring high accuracy, low temperature drift, and low power consumption. It operates on a single 5V power supply, capable of detecting currents up to 6mADC/30mAAC and outputting switch-type signals. The residual current detection function can be applied to electric vehicle IC-CPD, WallBox, charging piles, photovoltaic inverters, UPS, and other equipment. It can be configured with different numbers of primary current conductors, making it easy to use.

Description: System leakage current faults of the power supply to ground may pose a threat to personal safety or cause fires. Therefore, the power system must be disconnected from the grid before the fault escalates. System leakage current includes both DC and AC components, so an AC/DC sensitive monitoring unit is required. This product utilizes fluxgate technology and can be widely applied in detection systems where AC/DC or various complex waveform leakage currents exist. Its measured values are analyzed and processed by the power supply's control system.

    Application of self-checking function::

    1.Application of self-checking function: When the power system is not working, the leakage current is 0 and VOUT is at a low level (0V). By grounding the TEST pin (for a duration greater than 60mS), VOUT transitions from low level to high level (Vcc) to complete the self-check, indicating that the leakage current sensor is functioning properly. During normal operation, the TEST pin should be in a floating state.

    2.Note: 1. Single-phase applications are similar to three-phase applications. For single-phase, simply pass both the L line and N line through the sensor's inner hole. 2. The test conditions for electrical parameters are TA=25℃, UC=5V, and RL=10kΩ (load resistance). 3. Static electricity control should be implemented when handling the product. 4. Incorrect wiring methods may cause damage to the sensor. 5. The recommended welding temperature is 265℃±5℃
